Day 3: Full-day Game Drive in Masai Mara with Packed Lunch 

It is an open secret; morning game drives in the Masai Mara are the holy grail of game drives. In the morning, wildlife is at its liveliest; the ambiance is breathtakingly serene, and the temperatures are perfect. 

This part of your 4 days in Masai Mara focuses on spotting the wildlife you might have missed on previous game drives. Keep those eyes peeled for rarities like leopards, pangolins, and rhinos. 

You find a secluded spot in the park at midday and sit for lunch. Your afternoon game drive commences an hour later. 

Afternoon game drives are for exploring the many wonders and intricacies of the Mara scenery. The scattered acacias, the grasslands, the bushes and thickets, the riverine forests, the towering escarpments; no stone is left unturned. 

On the other hand, evening game drives are reserved for the wildlife (this never gets boring) and the sunset.

Day 4: Check-Out, Visit a Maasai Village, & Transfer to Nairobi

Nothing adds color and vibrance to your day like a Maasai village visit. On the last day of your 4 Days Safari Kenya itinerary, you have an early breakfast, check out, and stop by the villages briefly. 

Manyattas (Maasai huts) will be made from sticks, cow dung, urine, mud, and grass. You’ll also find a beautiful assortment of Maasai beadwork and pottery and lots of cheerful songs and dances. 

The visit lasts an hour, after which the 6-hour road trip to Nairobi commences. On arrival (to Nairobi), the guide will drive you to the airport for your trip back home. 

Those with night flights get an optional trip to the Animal Orphanage and the safari walk for photography at an extra USD 70.
