Game viewing

There’s something magical about feeling like you’re all alone in the wild, just like the explorers from long ago. The Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp offers guests a unique experience, far from busy streets, tall buildings, and noisy traffic, but the closest to nature. Elephant Pepper Camp is surrounded by peace and breathtaking views in the private Mara North Conservancy, a part of the greater Masai Mara ecosystem.

Maasai Mara boasts a limited number of safari lodges, and only a few camps like the Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp can be found in the Mara North Conservancy. With only a select number of guests allowed to explore the conservancy at a time, the camp offers a unique experience that feels even more special and untouched.

The camp is arranged in two sections, each on one side of the cozy and stylish central lounge and dining area. The whole camp covers four square kilometers of fertile plains. It’s built without cement, so it has a minimal impact on the environment. Solar power provides all the energy. Elephant Pepper Camp serves Italian-style food, along with international and local dishes, in the main dining area.

Elephant Pepper’s safari tents are big and comfortable. Each tent has a view of the beautiful African savannah and includes a private porch and hammock for relaxing. The tents have their own bathrooms with hot and cold water and flushing toilets. They are decorated with dark wood and vintage brass. For honeymoons or family trips, there are two larger family tents with extra privacy.

The camp’s remote location offers amazing stargazing opportunities. As you fall asleep, you might hear lions, hyenas, and leopards. In the morning, wake up to a hot cup of coffee or tea and a yummy fresh-baked biscuit. Some days, you can enjoy a meal outdoors on the plains with the local wildlife. It’s all part of the adventure during your stay at the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
